2nd Life Story

It was in the year 2051 when the third world war finally ended. No one really knows why or when it started, which countries sent soldiers to die needlessly… no one really asked anymore questions. All they knew out of the hundreds of thousands of lives that went into that battle- only thirty five survived- thirty five to remind the world of the horrors they saw through their eyes.

It was at that exact moment that Faustalus Inc. the world’s government- aghast and sickened with the sight of the war torn people and the ravaged lands- decided to destroy all mechanical weapons. Every last ounce of metal was melted down, all the blue prints burned and all record of their existence wiped from history as if it were dust swept off the table. Luckily the people were easily led into the cover-up… wanting to forget the ugly truth they lived. Sure enough they forgot… and their children never knew of the terrors of the past… the world lived in peace without the sound of the guns.

Until the night crept up on us when innocents were being attacked and killed by what looked like the technology long lost. Bullets found deep in people’s skulls. Plans of the weapons remained- from some veterans of the war- those who were so affected by the war it drove them mad- scarring them. They secretly kept instructions of how to build simple guns, bombs…

Except, over time the leaders became obsessed with the power and began to branch into other areas of the world. Finally hitting Australia’s Melbourne and creating their new paradise building within the heart of the city.

Vincent is the only son and heir of Viktor Faustulus, the greatest and wealthiest business man of Melbourne. He is influential and strong and Vincent's friend and idol. A shy bookworm who preferred to tinker with chemicals and fix mechanisms at the start, Vincent was a gifted scholar; he excelled in physics, chemistry and biology. So much that Viktor hired Vincent to work as a chemical and biotechnical engineer, melding chemicals and metals for the use of cars and buildings- only to have them used on him. He eventually breaks free from the company to live in squalor without the fine materialistic things he grew accustomed to. He grew hardened and lonely and learnt to deal with his newly acquired life, with no friends but the homeless in Melbourne and seedy car owners, he forced himself to forget his old way of life and the love he once had.
